  • Camping, firing, and horseback riding are prohibited on the beach.
  • Beach driving is allowed from October 1st to March 15th. 
  • People should have an entry pass, which can be purchased online and offline at Town Hall.
  • Recreational fires and firepits are only allowed on private property at 25 feet from vegetation.
  • Charcoal grills are prohibited, but small propane grills are permitted on the beach. It should be 50 feet away from structures, decks, dunes, walkways, and vegetation.
  • Burying trash, food, fuel, and other ingredients in the sand is prohibited. 
  • Any fireworks are banned on the Atlantic beach. 
  • Overnight camping and leaving any obstacles on the beach are punishable.
  • Tents with an area of less than 200 square feet and canopies with an area of less than 400 square feet are permitted. 
  • Glass bottles or containers are prohibited on the beach. 
  • Parking is restricted on the sidewalks, crosswalks, and in the public.

    May want to revise the “dogs may want to roam freely on beach in off season.” Was just informed by officer as my well trained dog was with me off leash. A local said she has this issue when playing fetch with her dog near water.
