4. Brigantine North-End Beach in New Jersey

Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area is an undeveloped tract within the Manasquan channel, spread over 55 acres. It is 3 minutes away from the North Jersey Coast line. This place allows dogs, but they must always be leashed.

16. Island Beach State Park on Central Avenue

Island Beach State Park is a fantastic beach with white sand and dunes. Dogs with leashes are welcome here; dogs can swim on the south swimming beach year-round. Dogs have no permission to swim from Memorial Day to the first weekend of October. The casino pier & breakwater beach is near the beach.

This place is a habitat of maritime plants and diverse wildlife. The State Park has different plant communities, primary dunes, thickets, freshwater, wetlands, maritime forests, and tidal marshes.

It’s the largest osprey colony in the state. There are also Peregrine falcons, wading birds, shore birds, waterfowl, and migrating songbirds. After the dogs explore the nature trails, check for ticks.
