  • By Water: Seastreak offers a high-speed ferry service to Sandy Hook from Manhattan. The facility is available from Memorial Day till Labor Day weekend.

Sandy Hook Beach Parking

Beach parking at Sandy Hook costs around $20 to $200 (approx). The fee is valid from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. It’s collected between 08:00 am to 06:00 pm. 

Visitors arriving before 08:00 am can park for free until the scheduled time. After 08:00 am, visitors must pay fees or park in free areas. Parking vehicles at Fort Hancock are free.

Sandy Hook is a renowned destination among campers. Camping during the daytime is unavailable. Only overnight stay is available for a maximum of 14 nights. Four people are allowed at a single site. For larger groups and families, multiple sites must be booked. 

Visitors must bring tents and sleeping bags. Alcohol, charcoal grills, and glass containers are prohibited in the park. Camping charges range from $15 to $30 (approx)per night. Weekly access passes cost around $105 to $210 (approx).
