  • Dogs must always be accompanied by their owners.

  • Owners must clean the waste discarded by their pets.

Bradley Beach Dog Licensing

Keeping dogs in Bradley Borough requires prior licensing. All dogs seven months old must be licensed. A certified veterinarian must vaccinate them against rabies, which should last 10 months of the licensing period. 

Dogs must wear their licensed badge at all times. Annual license renewal is mandatory. An online application for a dog license is also available. Charges range from $8.20 to $11.20 (approx). A late fee of $10 (approx) is applicable from 1st March onwards.

  • By Air: Newark (EWR) is the nearest airport to Bradley Beach.
  • By Bus: A bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal is operated by Academy Bus to Bradley Beach. It runs 4 times a week and takes 2 hours (approx). Ticket costs around $460 to $1600 (approx).
  • By Train: A train to Bradley Beach is available from Philadelphia (PHL). The train goes via Newark Penn Station, 30th Street Station, and Long Branch. It takes around 4 hours (approx).

Paid parking is available at Ocean Avenue and Bradley Boulevard. It is available from 08:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. (Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend). Visitors use the “Pay-By-Cell” application to pay for parking. 

There are 11 pay stations on Ocean Avenue and Sylvan Lake. Charges range from $1.50 (approximately) per hour. Payments are accepted via credit card, mobile app, or US currency and coin. 

Bradley Beach Bowling

Beach Bowl is a popular bowling alley in Bradley Beach where visitors can enjoy an amazing time with friends and family. Charges range from $6 to $6.50 (approximately) per person. Shoes are offered for rent for $5.50 (approximately). There are also options for food and drinks here.  

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 04:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Friday, 04:00 pm to 12:00 am, Saturday, 12:00 pm to 12:00 am, and Sunday, 12:00 pm to 06:00 pm. 

Bradley Beach Badges

Visitors must purchase badges before entering Bradley Beach. Badges are required starting from Memorial Day weekend and must be worn regularly until the beach opens. Tags can be purchased either online or in person. 

Pick-up facilities are available from Cliff, Brinley, and Third Avenue. Charges range between $37 and $85 (approx). Entry for active military members and veterans is free. They must present valid identity proof.  

Bradley Beach Boardwalk

Bradley Beach is renowned for its beautiful oceanfront and boardwalk, a mile-long stretch of land. It’s a beautiful location to stroll and admire the scenery. There is also a mini-golf course for visitors to enjoy. Pets are prohibited from entering the boardwalk.

  • Visitors are barred from swimming at night or remaining on the beach after midnight.
  • Trespassing on the dunes attracts a fine of $5 (approx). 
  • Erecting tents, canopies, and tables is prohibited on the beach.

Bradley Beach Lockers

Bradley Beach offers locker rental facilities to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Renters agree to enter into a contract with the Borough of Bradley. For security, visitors provide their own lock. Annual renewal of storage lockers is mandatory. 

The locker stores items like umbrellas, baby strollers, chairs, etc. Items remaining in the locker after September are confiscated. The locker cost for the first year is $575 (approx). After that, a renewal fee of $180 (approx) is applicable.
