The dog policies of Jennings Beach allow munchkins to roam freely without a leash as long as they follow the voice commands of their owners.

Jennings Beach Dog Licensing

Pups as young as 6 months old need to be licensed by their parents. According to Connecticut State Law, owners must obtain it within 30 days of getting a new pet. Licenses are renewed annually. After filling it out, parents must download and repost the Dog License Mail-in Application Form with supporting documents. The list includes a check/money order as fees, rabies vaccination details, and a spay /neuter certificate.

The fee for licensing a spayed pup is $8.00 and $19 for the unneutered one. A late fee of $1 per month is applied in case parents fail to renew a license by July 31st. The renewal process goes on from 1st June to July 31 every year.
