According to Connecticut State Law, dog parents must get a license when their pups turn 6 months old. It must be renewed annually. To get a license, owners must download and fill out the Dog License Mail-In Application form and post it back with a list of proper documents. The list includes updated rabies vaccination details, a spay /neuter certificate, and a check/money order as fees. 

Annual fees of $8.00 are required for a spayed dog and $15 for an unneutered one. A late fee of $1 per month is applicable if the owner fails to renew it by 1st July. The money order should be made in favor of your own Clerk. Owners must obtain a license within 30 days of getting a new pup. The license renewal process starts on 1st June.
